Urbanisation is an important global trend: cities are rapidly developing into mega-cities, which have to face various challenges such as noise pollution, exhaust emissions, etc. Another consequence of this urban development is an immense demand for goods.
In short, trucks are and will remain an indispensable backbone of society.
We cannot change that, but we can determine how they are driven. The FUSO eCanter is one of the first all-electric trucks in small series production, specially developed for inner-city last-mile distribution transport.
As a 7.49 t vehicle, it has a range of more than 100 km, an output of 129 kW and a chassis load capacity of 4.15 t.
In use in Europe since 2018, the eCanter has now covered more than 3 million locally emission-free kilometres in service for our customers.
The FUSO eCanter is the result of intensive research and customer testing, a revolution we have been working on for years. It marks the beginning of a world that develops and embraces sustainable and reliable transport solutions for the benefit of society and the planet.
The experience gained by our customers, including DB Schenker, DPD, Dachser and other industry-leading companies with the powerful eCanter small series model flows directly back to FUSO, where the data is evaluated and incorporated into the development of the series vehicle.
The goal: when the eCanter goes into series production, it should be even more precisely tailored to the customer and his everyday use.
